Informatics deals with the theoretical foundations of information and computing, as well as practical methods for implementing and applying these foundations.
Computer science includes disciplines related to information processing in computers and computer networks: both abstract, such as analysis of algorithms, and specific, for example, the development of programming languages and data transfer protocols.
